Published earlier this year, Sugar Ray Leonard’s autobiography, The Big Fight: My Life In and out of the Ring, is a great read for Christmas time and to carry you through an inspirational start to the new year. Written with Michael Arkush, the book opens with Leonard’s contemplation of what would happen before he left the lockerroom for his 1987 fight with Marvelous Marvin Hagler for the Middleweight Championship of the World, then flashes back to his early years when he was first exposed to boxing. It chronicles all his challenges and the internal struggle he had throughout his epically successful career.
